Acti-Flex Senior is a nutritional supplement specifically formulated for the "old timer" to help them stay flexible, comfortable and maintain a healthy weight. It contains the same joint benefiting nutrients as Acti-Flex and includes probiotics to help older horses compensate for reduced digestive efficiency so the nutrients can properly be digested to benefit all vital systems. This is particularly beneficial for older horses that may have difficulty gaining or maintaining a healthy body weight. Acti-Flex Senior is manufactured in an alfalfa-based powder that proves to be highly palatable. Type II Collagen is the major protein found in cartilage and is the newest ingredient in Acti-flex Senior. Type II Collagen is the "glue" that holds cartilage together as well as providing elasticity within the joints. Guaranteed Analysis Per Oz: Lactobacillus 93,750 million CFU Glucosamine Sulfate 8,000 mg. Chondroitin Sulfate 4,000 mg. Type II Collagen 3,000 mg. MSM 3,000 mg. Ester C (Ascorbic Acid) 1,000 mg. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) 125 mg. Feed 1 oz twice per day for the first 7 to 14 days then reduce to a maintenance level of 1 oz per day. A 1 oz scoop is enclosed.
